Carlson’s Sporting Clays choke tubes feature a black finish and are manufactured from 17-4 stainless steel, precision machined to deliver superior patterning compared to standard choke tubes. The design incorporates a 25% longer parallel section in the choke, resulting in more consistent patterns than conventional designs. Each tube is knurled at the end for convenient removal and installation, with constriction specifications lasered on the end for quick identification.
These Light Modified, non-ported tubes are compatible with lead shot, steel shot, copperplated shot, nickel shot, Hevi-Shotshells, and buckshot. Steel shot larger than BB should not be used in any Sporting Clays Choke Tube tighter than Full Constriction. Due to the extended parallel section, these choke tubes produce tighter and denser patterns than flush mount alternatives and fit all Browning Invector, Mossberg Model 500, Winchester, Weatherby, and Savage 12 gauge choke systems.
