The CMMG Dissent Mk4 Upper is chambered in 22 ARC and features a 16″ barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, 15″ M-LOK handguard, Picatinny rail, threaded barrel, reversible side charging handle, and adjustable gas block. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, the receiver weighs 5.05 lbs.
This upper leverages CMMG’s patent pending direct impingement Compact Action, which consolidates the entire action and recoil assembly into the upper receiver for reduced bulk and length compared to traditional AR pistols. The forward non-reciprocating side charger enables quick bolt operation without losing sight picture. When paired with a mil-spec compatible lower receiver and the included 1913 Picatinny rear end plate, you can configure the platform as a pistol build with accessories like slings, or as a compact carbine with a folding stock.
