The CMMG Dissent Mk4 is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built on the Br4 platform with a 16.1-inch barrel featuring a 1:7 twist rate and MT contour. The barrel is constructed from 4140CM SBN material and is threaded 1/2 x 28 to accommodate the included CMMG ZEROED Muzzle Brake. Gas operation employs Compact Action-Direct Impingement with a mid-location gas port and an adjustable 0.750″ gas block.
The upper receiver is machined from DISSENT 7075 T6 aluminum, paired with a Br4 Billet 7075 T6 aluminum lower receiver. A 15-inch CMMG proprietary hand guard provides mounting real estate, while the entire rifle wears a Cerakote finish. The DISSENT Side Charger is reversible for left or right-hand operation, and trigger control comes from a ZEROED Drop-In Single Stage trigger housed within an integrated trigger guard. The reversible cross bolt safety selector adapts to either hand orientation.
Stock duties are handled by a Magpul SGA configured for Remington 870 applications. The rifle ships with two Magpul 10-round PMAG magazines and weighs 8 lbs with an overall length of 38.1 inches. This configuration supports both standard and specialized shooting applications.
