CMMG engineered the Dissent BR4 carbine around one of America’s most widely adopted AR-15 calibers, the 5.56. The BR4 platform was purpose-built to serve Americans living in states with strict firearm regulations. This model features CMMG’s new EMPIRE profile unthreaded barrel with a recessed barrel crown, eliminating compatibility concerns in jurisdictions that prohibit threaded barrels. The upper and lower groups work smoothly together, with the lower accepting standard 5.56 AR magazines.
The 16.10″ carbine ships with two 10-round capacity Magpul PMags, a Remington 870 stock-compatible design, cross-bolt safety, forward non-reciprocating side charger, and CMMG’s proprietary Zeroed single stage trigger. You can choose from seven color options to match your preference or mission needs.
