Connecticut Valley Arms introduces the Cascade, their first bolt-action centerfire rifle. Drawing on nearly 50 years of experience leading the muzzleloading and single-shot centerfire markets, CVA has engineered what they believe to be the best bolt-action rifle available. The Cascade features a 4140 carbon steel barrel in .308 Winchester with a 22-inch length, finished in Cerakote Flat Dark Earth and equipped with a threaded muzzle ready for a brake or suppressor.
The bolt incorporates a 70-degree throw for smooth, fast cycling and provides generous scope clearance. A two-position safety is positioned for natural, instantaneous operation. The rifle feeds from a 4-round capacity detachable magazine with flush fit (additional magazines sold separately by CVA).
The synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced with a SoftTouch finish in Veil Wideland camo for reliable grip in demanding conditions. Adjustable length of pull is achieved through a removable buttstock spacer, accommodating small-statured shooters and hunters who need to adjust for heavy winter clothing. Dual front swivel studs permit simultaneous use of both a sling and a bi-pod.
The Cascade accepts all two-piece mounts designed for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger, making scope installation straightforward.
This bolt action rifle is available for export to Canada and is generally classified as non-restricted for Canadian PAL holders.
