The Crimson Trace LG-496 LaserGuard is a compact laser sight engineered for Springfield Armory’s XD MOD.2 Series pistols. Mounted to the trigger guard, it maintains a slim profile that complements the pistol’s design and incorporates Crimson Trace’s signature Instinctive Activation feature. The red laser produces 5 mW of output with a dot measuring approximately 0.50 inches at 50 feet.
Powered by a single 1/3N battery (included), the LG-496 delivers over 4 hours of runtime. Pre-sighted at 50 feet, it offers full user adjustment for windage and elevation using the provided tool. Setup requires no gunsmithing and can be completed by the end user.
Construction combines durable polymer with a rubber overmold designed to endure defensive and training applications.
