The Crimson Trace RAD Micro Pro (Rapid Aiming Dot) Electronic Sight is an ultra-compact open reflex sight engineered for compact and subcompact pistols. Featuring a recessed and fully multi-coated lens, the RAD Micro Pro delivers a large quick acquisition window for rapid target acquisition. The sight includes the CT RADIANT Ambient Light Sensor, which automatically adjusts the aiming dot’s brightness to match surrounding lighting conditions.
Installation is straightforward on optics cut slides via the CT micro footprint, with compatibility extending to Shield RMS and JPoint footprints. A rear sight notch is cut into the back of the housing to align with your front iron sight. The housing is constructed from carbon infused polymer, offering 30% lighter weight than aluminum while delivering 30% greater strength than standard polymer.
The entire CT RAD family incorporates an innovative top strap design that deflects force in the event of a drop. Crimson Trace engineers developed this approach to reduce stress on the lens of reflex sights by combining unconventional design thinking with advanced physics principles, creating a system that reinforces the optic and minimizes stress if the sight is accidentally dropped.
