The Crimson Trace CT RAD Pro (Rapid Aiming Dot) is a full-size Open Reflex Sight designed for full frame pistols. It features a red 3 MOA aiming dot housed behind a recessed and fully multi-coated lens, providing a large quick acquisition window for target engagement.
The sight includes the CT RADIANT Ambient Light Sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the aiming dot in response to changing lighting conditions. Movement detection is handled by the CT MOTION Sensor, which powers the sight on when the firearm moves and automatically shuts it off after 2 minutes of inactivity. An AUTO Shutoff Function engages after 8 consecutive hours of continuous operation to extend battery life, while a manual ON/OFF Function accessible via the side brightness buttons gives you direct control.
Installation is straightforward on optics cut slides using the CT RAD footprint, with compatibility for the Docter footprint as well. An additional Low Profile Pic Rail adapter is included to mount the sight to most MILSPEC Pic rail equipped firearms. Textured sides provide secure purchase when racking the slide, and large brightness setting buttons remain accessible even when wearing gloves.
Constructed from 7075 Series Aerospace Aluminum, the CT RAD Pro is 30% stronger than industry standard sights manufactured from 6061 Series Aluminum.
