The bolt incorporates a 70 degree throw that enables smooth and fast cycling, with generous scope clearance. A two-position safety is positioned for natural, instantaneous operation. The synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and finished with a SoftTouch surface for secure handling. The buttstock allows adjustable length of pull through a removable spacer, making this rifle suitable for growing youths, small statured adults, or full-sized hunters. Dual front swivel studs enable simultaneous mounting of both a sling and a bi-pod.
