Built from the ground up by CZ Custom, the A01-SD Optics-Ready is the next evolution of the Shadow series with a hammer-forged, CNC-machined, blued steel frame delivering unmatched strength and precision. The short dustcover shifts the balance point closer to the shooter’s hand, making for quicker target transitions and a more agile feel. A deep beavertail, undercut trigger guard, 25 LPI checkering, and integrated magwell enhance grip and control, combining classic CZ 75 ergonomics with modern, competition-ready features.
The A01-SD is equipped with a match-grade 4.925″ bull barrel made from 416 stainless steel, ensuring exceptional accuracy. The slide is CNCed from 4140 bar stock and features front and rear serrations. Features include a fiber optic front sight, a manual safety, and two 19 round magazines. Two adapter plates are included that allow the user to add reflex sights which use either the Delta Point Pro or RMR footprint.
The A01-SD features the CZC Ghost Competition hammer, CZC short reset disconnector, CZC 85 gunsmith trigger, CZC extended firing pin, and fiber optic front sight. The double-action pull weight ranges from 8-8.5 lbs, while the single action measures around 3-3.5 lbs. Both the hammer and the sear are directly pinned in the frame to solidify trigger pull consistency. This competition-focused pistol delivers the precision and reliability serious shooters demand.
