The Daniel Defense Rail Interface System (RIS II) handguard was engineered at the request of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II program. This 12.25″ two-piece handguard features a free-floating design and is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a flat dark earth anodized finish. It includes Picatinny rail mounting and allows the individual operator to free-float the M203 grenade launcher without additional parts.
