The Keystone Sporting Arms Chipmunk .22 Long Rifle features a 16-inch barrel with a blue barrel and walnut Monte Carlo stock and oil finish, designed as a manual cocking, single shot, bolt action with a forged steel and machined, low scope bolt handle. This is the 00001LH model, configured for left-handed shooters. The Chipmunk is offered as a premium youth rifle, with a metal fixed front sight, metal bolt cocking knob, and an elegant Monte Carlo style American walnut stock with a short length of pull.
The rifle features a rear peep sight fully adjustable for windage and elevation, with a front ramp and post. The blued barrel is drilled and tapped to accept optics of your choice, and the stock is outfitted with swivel stud screws that accept a sling. The trigger pull is approximately 3 1/2 lbs, and the rebounding firing pin is automatically blocked to prevent accidental discharge.
The length of pull is 11 1/2 inches, with a 16-inch contoured steel barrel that is button rifled with a one-turn-in-16-inch twist rate. The Chipmunk brand was started in 1982 and then purchased by Keystone Sporting Arms in 2007, and continues to be a popular name in the industry. This left-hand configuration makes it an ideal choice for southpaw shooters beginning their shooting education.
