The J. Dewey ABS-2 is a 10-inch Adjustable Bore Saver Rod Guide with an anodized aluminum rod guide tube and solvent port, designed to fit .24-7mm calibers. This guide features an adjustable aluminum locking collar with brass pin and O-rings that seal the chamber and keep solvents and oils out of the receiver. It replaces the bolt and fits rifles with .695-.700 diameter bolts, making it compatible with a wide variety of firearms including Remington 700, Ruger 77, Winchester 70, Savage 110, and many other popular models.
This bore guide replaces the bolt in your rifle action while cleaning and allows the cleaning rod to go straight into the bore without hammering the chamber or throat. The O-rings fit the guide tightly to the chamber, keeping solvent where it is supposed to be, while the 10-inch length provides generous hand clearance beneath the eyepiece, accommodating both short and medium-length scopes.
