DNZ’s Game Reaper 2 scope mounts for the Browning A-Bolt 3 are precision two-piece designs machined from solid billet 6061T6 aluminum. Most Game Reaper 2 mounts weigh between 2 to 3 ounces depending on height style and size, delivering approximately 1/3 the weight of steel alternatives while absorbing shock and withstanding temperature extremes.
These mounts are machined to accommodate 8-40 base screws. Base screws measure 8-40 X 1/4″ long and require a 9/64 Allen wrench. Ring screws are 6-40 X 5/8″ long and use a 7/64 Allen wrench. All Game Reaper 2 piece 30MM mounts feature tactical ring design with 4 ring screws on each end of the mount. Tactical rings measure .80″ wide and will fit left or right handed and short or long action guns.
The internal ring and base design provides extra eye relief adjustment while eliminating the need for windage screws that can work loose. The mount design also eliminates or reduces scope damage from tightening rings, and no lapping is required. With up to four times the threads of other mounts, these provide absolute strength and security with no moving parts between the firearm and scope.
Height from top of receiver to centerline of scope tube is available in three settings: low .94″, medium 1.06″, and high 1.19″. Note that some Savage Round Receiver Guns and Savage Axis Guns drilled and tapped with 8-40 base screw holes will fit the Browning A-Bolt 3 Game Reaper 2 piece mount—please verify your gun’s receiver holes before ordering.
