DURAMAG Speed magazines represent a genuine advancement over standard USGI magazines. The magazine bodies are constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with type-III hard-coat anodizing. Unlike competitors that apply surface coatings for color, DURAMAG’s color options are integral to the anodizing process itself, bonded directly to the metal. These magazines remain safe for extended storage while loaded and resist the flexing or swelling common to polymer alternatives. Manufacturing employs Progressive die tooling, Post and Hole design, and fully robotic welding to ensure consistent quality with every purchase, guaranteed. Due to the chemical process inherent in Type 3 Hard-coat anodizing, product color finish may vary between individual magazines, even within the same batch. DURAMAG’s final Quality Control process maintains an acceptable range for each color hue and rejects any magazine falling outside this established range.
