The 1018 machined steel construction measures 1.70″ long with a ½” diameter body and .530″ diameter collar, providing an extra-strong, integral collar for enhanced durability and performance.
This long plug is designed to fit Government slides, making it the ideal choice for 5″ Government Model 1911 pistols. Reverse plugs are used in compensator guns and bull-barreled pistols where there is no bushing to retain the spring. All reverse plugs will require fitting, so installation by a skilled gunsmith is recommended.
