Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, the EGW Long Ranger Picatinny Base is designed for Henry Long Ranger rifles. This one-piece rail features a matte black anodized finish with an overall length of 5.094 inches and a height of 0.4 inches from the top of the receiver to the top of the rail. This high quality picatinny accessory rail features scalloped edges and is hardened to 68 Rockwell.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, giving the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, and in many cases will not obstruct the usage of factory iron sights. Weighing just 2 ounces and compatible with ambidextrous applications, the mount comes complete with #8-40 X 1/4 screws and T-10 bit, with mounting torque specifications of 20 in/lbs.
