The EGW Montana Rifle 1999 Long Action HD Scope Base features a one-piece Picatinny rail machined from solid 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum with a matte black hardcoat finish. Designed for long action receivers, this mount sits at 0.35″ height and features a center spread of 4.045″. The ambidextrous design comes with a bevel on both sides, making it versatile for shooters of any preference.
The full-length Picatinny cross slots are machined to MIL-STD 1913 specs maintaining tolerances of +/-.002″, giving shooters flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The mount is compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings. The base is compatible with quick disconnect rings, allowing for rapid mounting and dismounting when needed.
The aluminum construction features Type III hard coat anodizing for long-lasting durability, while steel rails are Mil Spec parkerized for a durable rust resistant finish.
