The EGW red dot sight mount adapter replaces the rear sight on your Ruger SR9, SR40, or SR45 to mount Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sights. Machined from 7075 aluminum with a matte black hardcoat finish, this mount features an overall length of 1.811 inches and width of .99 inches. Designed for left-to-right installation with the muzzle facing forward, the progressive taper dovetail allows for easier mounting.
All necessary mounting hardware is included—two 6-32 button head screws for Vortex Viper and Venom sights, two 6-32 flat head screws for Burris FastFire and Docter sights, and one 6-32 set screw. The set screw enables compatibility with friction fit dovetails as well. The mount is torqued to 15 in/lbs. Installation is straightforward and reversible, though it should be done by a qualified gunsmith to avoid firearm damage or warranty issues. You can remove the mount and replace your original rear sight at any time.
