The Elftmann Tactical Ambidextrous Speed Safety is a replacement for AR-15/AR-10 rifles, constructed from stainless steel with a black oxide finish. This drop-in cross-bolt safety easily replaces your standard two-position rotating safety selector. Unlike traditional rotating selectors, this ambidextrous design allows you to take your AR from safety to ready to fire and back to safe with a simple push of a button, with no rotation necessary and no shifting of the shooter’s hand needed.
The Elftmann Safety slides side-to-side in the safety selector channel of your lower receiver; pushing it to the right when holding the pistol grip puts the gun on “Fire” with a red ring indicating the weapon’s status, while pushing it to the left puts the gun on safe with no red ring visible. The SAFETY-B features a black oxide finish, is compatible with all mil-spec AR-15/AR-10 receivers, and is not compatible with Hiperfire triggers. The safety comes with a safety detent and weighs 0.4 oz.
