The EOTech XPS2 is one of the shortest, smallest, and lightest holographic weapon sights offered by EOTech, measuring just 3.8″ and weighing a mere 9 oz. Built to conserve valuable rail space while enabling rapid both-eyes-open sighting and tracking in a variety of conditions, the XPS2 OD Green variant is finished in distinctive Olive Drab Green for tactical applications. This compact optic takes up very little rail space, allowing other accessories such as back-up iron sights and magnifiers.
The XPS2 utilizes EOTech’s popular One Dot Reticle, which is composed of a 1-MOA dot in the center of a 68-MOA ring, with additional vertical and horizontal stadia. The center dot can be used to accurately engage targets at ranges from 50 to 200 yards, and the lower vertical stadia can be used to make quick close range shots. Impact point correction is made at 0.5 MOA per click with a total windage and elevation adjustment range of 40 MOA to compensate for most terrain and conditions.
The XPS2 operates on a single CR123 battery and features a runtime of 600 continuous hours, with 20 intensity levels for use in most lighting conditions. It has an integrated Picatinny/Weaver rail mount, is submersible to 10′, and is internally fog resistant. By projecting a holographic reticle at 200m, the HWS minimizes parallax—making it the Close Combat Optic of choice for USSOCOM.
