Evolution Gun Works manufactures this scope base for Remington 700, 722, and 40X Short Action rifles. The rail is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and finished in matte black. It features 0 MOA with a center spread of 3.627″ and an overall length of 6.276″. The base accepts both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings.
Dimensions measure 0.90″ height × 3.45″ width × 8.25″ length. The design comes standard with bevels on both sides for ambidextrous use. Socket head Torx screws and a wrench are provided for mounting. EGW recommends 20 inch lbs. of torque and a drip of blue Loctite during installation.
