This EGW scope base is machined from 6061-T6 extruded aluminum with a matte black finish. It mounts to Mossberg 500 shotguns manufactured after 1997, as well as 590, 835, 930, and 935 models. The Picatinny rail features a center spread of 2.125″ (measured center to center between the two middle holes on your receiver) and an overall length of 5.882″. Dimensions are 0.95 X 3.45 X 8.40, with a height of 0.9500″, width of 3.4500″, and length of 8.4000″.
The base comes with hex head screws and a wrench for installation. EGW recommends applying 20 inch lbs. of torque during mounting and using a drip of blue Loctite to secure the fasteners. The rail accepts MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny-compatible rings (not included). Made in USA, this scope base provides a solid foundation for mounting optics on your Mossberg shotgun platform.
