The F.A.I.R. Iside II is a side-by-side shotgun forged from a solid Monobloc through meticulous shaving removal, exemplifying Italian craftsmanship. This shotgun features a straight grip, English style walnut stock with fine-pitch laser checkering, and a color case-hardened frame with delicate engraving.
The gun is built around 28″ barrels and incorporates the Technichoke® XP50 system for seamless handling and adaptability. Weighing 6 lbs., the demi-bloc barrel coupling system—with barrel and breech formed from a single piece of bored steel—combines with the compact box lock action to achieve a lightweight design without aluminum alloys. Three interchangeable choke tubes are included: cylinder, improved cylinder, and modified.
F.A.I.R. shotguns are manufactured by Fabbrica Armi Isodoro Rizzini in Marcheno, located in Italy’s Lombardy Region. Lock-up employs a Purdey double underbolt, and the demi-block, or chopper-lump barrels—where each barrel and its lumps are formed from a single piece of steel—provide strength and aid in regulating point of aim, a characteristic of more expensive guns.
