This barrel arrives pre-notched at the journal with the included low-profile gas block pre-drilled, eliminating the complexity of pinning and ensuring a secure gas system that resists shift or loosening under recoil. The Gunner profile merges Government durability with weight savings comparable to a Pencil profile, shifting the balance point forward for quicker target transitions.
Manufactured from 4150 CMV steel with button rifling and a 1:8 twist rate, the barrel is finished in black nitride across all surfaces. Each barrel undergoes stress relief, air-gauge testing, MPI inspection, and headspace verification. The factory-pinned .625″ gas block arrives pre-aligned and drilled, requiring no additional fitting. The mid-length gas system provides smooth recoil characteristics and reliable function with standard 5.56 NATO ammunition.
This barrel ships with the barrel, low-profile gas block (hand-tightened for transit), and retaining pin included. When pin-and-welded, it achieves a 16″ overall length and serves equally well for training, duty, or competitive applications.
