This gunner profile barrel features a 1:8 twist rate, a rifle length gas system, a .750″ gas block diameter, and a 2.46lbs total weight. Engineered for shooters pursuing competition-grade accuracy and long-range capability, this Match Series barrel combines a NP3 nickel-Teflon coated barrel extension for smoother feed ramps, increased reliability and easier cleaning, with 5R Rifling which reduces bullet deformation as it passes through the bore.
The Gunner profile is designed to balance stiffness and weight by keeping useful rigidity while reducing forward mass. This improves handling while maintaining practical precision for 6.5 Creedmoor AR10 builds. The gas block journal is set to .750″ for compatibility with most common gas blocks and 1.9″ in length for long blocks or aftermarket piston kits. From the gas block journal forward, a thinner taper is used, designed to reduce weight yet maintain rigidity for high rates of fire and as a suppressor host. The barrel features 5/8-24 muzzle threading and a recessed target crown.
