Federal’s Black Cloud FS Steel ammunition for 12 gauge 3.5 inch loads delivers consistent, dense patterns through both ported and standard waterfowl chokes thanks to the FLITECONTROL FLEX wad. The wad’s rear-deploying petals and side-mounted vents are engineered to separate the payload from the wad at precisely the right moment for tight, effective patterns.
Each 25-round box contains BBB shot combining a 40 percent FLITESTOPPER steel pellets and 60 percent Premium steel payload for dense coverage and larger wound channels. The ammunition is built with Federal’s Catalyst lead-free primer and a clean-burning, temperature-stable propellant that significantly reduces barrel residue. Additional durability features include a black nickel head to prevent corrosion and a sealed crimp designed to keep moisture out in harsh waterfowl hunting conditions.
