The FN America FN15 DMR3 in 5.56 NATO delivers enhanced accuracy through a carefully engineered combination of components. The 18-inch hybrid profile barrel paired with a rifle-length gas system, Geissele two-stage G2S trigger, and SureFire ProComp muzzle brake work together to reduce recoil impulse and muzzle rise, enabling faster shot-to-shot recovery and precise trigger control.
At the core of this rifle is FN’s hammer forged, 18-inch barrel with a 1:8 twist rate and chrome lining. The hybrid profile design provides the stiffness and heat absorption necessary for accurate, high-volume shooting. Built from FN’s proprietary machine gun barrel steel and featuring chrome lining, the barrel achieves long service life. The rifle also incorporates a fully free-floated Hodge Defense-designed wedge lock handguard and a low-profile gas block pinned to the barrel.
