The Forster Bushing Full Length Ultra Die Set for 6.5×47 Lapua includes a Bushing Full Length Sizing Die, Bench Rest® Ultra Micrometer Seater Die, and 3 bushings. The Bushing Full Length Sizing Die provides precision control over neck sizing tension while sizing the body and bumping the shoulder, which improves accuracy and prolongs case life by sizing the case’s shoulder and body down just enough to fit in a minimum-sized SAAMI rifle chamber, with the bushing limiting working of the neck.
The bushings are available in 0.001″ increments, allowing fine control over neck tension to match your rifle’s chamber. Each die features an etched reference line and a Forster Accu-Lock-Ring for precise and consistent die adjustment. The Ultra micrometer enables fine adjustments for precise seating measurements from the first round.
Dies are heat treated and oil quenched in atmospherically controlled furnaces to an extremely tough Rockwell hardness, then hand polished in a high-speed lathe both before and after heat treating to achieve an extra-fine finish.
