The Forster Bench Rest® Bushing Bump Sizing Die delivers precision control over neck sizing tension in hand-loaded cartridge brass. By sizing necks only as much as necessary while bumping the shoulder to maintain case concentricity and headspace length, this die improves accuracy and extends case life while preventing neck overwork and allowing you to dial in your preferred neck tension for bullet seating.
This 6.5 PRC kit includes a hand-polished Forster Bushing Bump Neck Sizing Die matched to your caliber, along with three bushing sizes: .292″, .290″, and .288″ diameter. The die features an automatic decapping pin that removes spent primers from the primer pocket, and its one-step neck sizing reduction/shoulder bump operation keeps case necks straighter.
Die construction involves heat treatment and oil quenching in atmospherically controlled furnaces to achieve extremely tough Rockwell hardness, followed by hand polishing in a high-speed lathe both before and after heat treating for an extra-fine finish. With over 90 available bushings, you can size case necks to your exact specifications.
