The Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater Die is a non-crimping style seater die that maintains perfect alignment between bullet and case during press-fit seating. It combines the straight line seating features of Forster’s original Bench Rest Seater Die with an ultra-accurate micrometer adjustment capability, allowing you to adjust bullet seating depth to .001″ or .0005″ increments. The die adapts to most standard reloading presses, making it compatible with your existing press setup.
The Ultra Seater Die substantially reduces the trial and error traditionally involved in seating accurate rounds. Once you have seated your bullet near the desired depth and measured it, simply adjust the micrometer stem to the target depth for straightforward fine-tuning of your rounds to bring them close to the lands of your rifling. Each die is manufactured from high quality steel, carefully machined to very close tolerances and hand polished both before and after heat-treating to ensure an extra smooth finish.
