The Franklin Armory BFSIII AR-Elite Binary Trigger is a three-position trigger system engineered for AR-platform firearms. The unit includes both curved and straight trigger shoes and is finished in black. The trigger features a smooth trigger pull of 4.5 lbs, with a ±0.5 lb tolerance.
The BFS™ AR-Elite is a 3-position trigger designed for both tactical and competitive use. In Binary mode (Position 3), it fires one round on pull and another on release, significantly reducing split times between shots and enabling tighter groupings. Position 1 provides Safe (the trigger will not fire), Position 2 enables Semi-automatic operation (fires one round per pull), and Position 3 is Binary (fires one round on pull and one round on release). The trigger features a patented selector that allows you to cancel the release round by switching out of Binary® mode while holding the trigger back.
The trigger is simple to install with reliable reset during the release phase and enhanced buffer springs that provide optimal flexibility. It is designed to fit AR-15 platforms and to be compatible with most bolt carrier groups. The trigger works with most AR platforms and calibers, including 5.56 NATO, .308 Win, 300 BLK, 9mm, and Rimfire.
