Geissele’s Super Precision 30mm Hyper Extended Scope Mount was designed for use on AR-type uppers and delivers one of the most secure mounts available. Milled from a single piece of high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum, this mount allows ribs and pockets to be added for enhanced strength and rigidity, as well as lining up the bore caps to each other.
The mounting surface takes up 7 picatinny sections and features 4 shear lugs with 2 nut and bolt combinations, each providing a clamping force of 1400 pounds to ensure a steadfast hold even under heavy recoil. These mounts use Geissele’s update of the classic nut and bolt method for clamping the mount to the picatinny rail, which is the most secure method of attaching your scope to your weapon. Unlike lever-based systems, each nut and bolt combination provides 1,400 pounds of clamping force, much more than any lever mounting arrangement.
