GrovTec was founded when Bob Grover joined Michaels of Oregon in 1987. Grover’s career at Michaels progressed through the recoil pad and scope cover department before advancing to the Machine Shop, where he served as Black Oxide Finisher, Machine Operator, Machine setup person, Davenport Lead, Machine Shop Foreman, Manufacturing Supervisor, ISO Coordinator, and Manufacturing Manager.
