GrovTec was founded when Bob Grover joined Michaels of Oregon in 1987, starting in the recoil pad and scope cover department before transitioning to the Machine Shop. Over his tenure, Grover held positions including Black Oxide Finisher, Machine Operator, Machine setup person, Davenport Lead, Machine Shop Foreman, Manufacturing Supervisor, ISO Coordinator, and Manufacturing Manager.
