GrovTec was founded when Bob Grover began working for Michaels of Oregon in 1987. Starting in the recoil pad and scope cover department, Grover progressed through the Machine Shop, holding positions including Black Oxide Finisher, Machine Operator, Machine setup person, Davenport Lead, Machine Shop Foreman, Manufacturing Supervisor, ISO Coordinator, and Manufacturing Manager.
