The Hatsan Escort PS is a dependable and efficient semi-automatic shotgun built with Hatsan’s FAST Loading System and SMART Valve Piston technology. The FAST Loading System allows faster, easier one-handed magazine loading without changing shooting positions—the loading switch functions as both a carrier latch release for loading and the bolt release when the bolt is locked back.
This left-hand-configured 12-gauge model features a 3″ magnum chamber paired with a 28″ proof-tested barrel finished in chrome-plated steel with oxidation resistance, suitable for both shot and slugs. The rugged synthetic stock and forend deliver strength and durability, with checkered grip surfaces for improved control. Stock shims enable adjustment of drop and cast for customized fit. The tube magazine holds 4-round capacity or 2-round capacity with the migratory plug installed, and the shotgun includes mounted sling studs and a manual cross-button trigger safety.
The SMART Valve Piston cycles 7/8 oz to 2 oz magnum loads in both 2¾” and 3″ magnum rounds with a self-regulating design that reliably handles a mix of heavy and light loads in the same magazine. The checkered and ventilated anti-glare rib accommodates steel shot and features a multi 5 choke system with five interchangeable chokes (F, IM, M, IC, CYL).
