Henry Big Boy Steel 44 Magnum Lever Action Rifle

Henry honors the brass tradition established by B.T. Henry’s 1860 rifle, yet the Big Boy Steel Side Gate recognizes that today’s hunter may prefer reduced weight on the mountain. It carries the same brush gun appeal as the brass-framed Big Boys in overall configuration, but with upgraded features for the modern hunter, weighing 1.68lbs. less than its brass counterpart. These Side Gate models are offered in .357 Mag/.38 Special, .44 Mag/.44 Special, and .45 Colt, with a choice of either a standard 20″ round barrel and regular lever, or a compact 16.5″ round barrel with a large-loop lever for gloved cold-weather use and added style. Both configurations feature fine checkering on genuine American walnut fore-end and straight-wrist stock, range-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear and brass bead front sights, an automatic in-hammer transfer bar safety, and a side loading gate paired with removable tube magazine configuration. Rifles hold a 10-round capacity in the tube, while carbines hold a 7-round capacity.
