The Henry Single Shot is a centerfire rifle in 30-30 Winchester that combines traditional styling with practical safety features. Its steel frame wears a matte finish, while a round barrel serves as the foundation for the brass bead front sight and leaf rear sight configuration. The rifle is drilled and tapped to accommodate optional scope mounting.
The walnut stock incorporates a curved pistol grip wrist and is fitted with a solid rubber recoil pad for shooter comfort. Rather than relying on an external manual safety, the action employs a rebounding hammer that cannot contact the firing pin unless the trigger is deliberately pulled, paired with an interlock system that prevents the barrel from opening when the hammer is cocked.
