The HK VP9L is a German-engineered semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9MM Luger, built on a polymer frame and slide in black. The 5-inch barrel pairs with fixed 3-dot sights and a proprietary slide cut for optics mounting, making this model optics ready—note that optics mounting plates are sold separately. The polymer grip features ambidextrous controls throughout, including dual slide releases and an ambidextrous magazine release, with an ambidextrous safety as well. The pistol is striker fired and ships with two 15-round capacity magazines; it also accepts P30 magazines for added versatility. The gun is not drilled and tapped. Weighing 27.16 ounces, this is a purpose-built duty and defensive pistol for shooters who demand German precision and modern ergonomics.
