This die set includes Full-Length Sizer and a Seating Die, designed for the 7mm-08 Remington cartridge. Custom-Grade rifle dies begin as specially selected steel that’s hand-inspected both before and after it’s delivered, then the steel is heat-treated to ensure the durability needed to provide a lifetime of reloading, and the inside surface of each sizing die is carefully hand-polished to a mirror finish resulting in a die so smooth, guaranteed to never scratch a case.
Feature highlights include the all-new Zip-Spindle design, Sure-Loc rings, an elliptical expander, and highly polished interiors. The Full Length Die features a Zip Spindle with a series of light threads cut on the spindle and spindle collet to eliminate slippage and make it easier to tighten the spindle lock when making adjustments. The elliptical expander reduces case neck friction and stretching, and the hardened steel decapping pin will not bend, crack or break, even when depriming cases with crimped primer pockets.
The seating die also applies a crimp to secure the bullet in the case. Die set comes packaged in a plastic storage box with two Sure-Loc rings. With one of the finest internal finishes in the industry, Hornady Custom Grade and Match Grade Dies provide a lifetime of reloading.
