The Hornady C50BMG Lock-N-Load Modified Case is made of brass and designed for .50 BMG caliber. This case has had the flash hole cut out and replaced by threads to screw into the Hornady lock-n-load overall length gage, making it an essential reloading tool for precision handloaders. Manufactured to SAAMI specs, the case ensures reliable performance across your reloading workflow.
The specially prepared modified case is threaded at the case-head and has a .002″ oversized neck to accept the same bullets you intend to load. A special fine thread is used to attach the case to the gauges, ensuring that it remains perfectly square for precise alignment in the chamber of your firearm. The neck of the case is made perfectly round and opened slightly to allow a standard diameter bullet to slip into the case mouth effortlessly, but concentrically, to ensure the most precise results possible. You will need a Modified Case to fit your firearm’s chamber and thread it onto the Lock-N-Load OAL gauge (Sold Separately).
