The Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge is a curved-design accessory engineered to work with all autoloader, lever-action, pump-action, bolt-action, and single-shot firearms. The gauge inserts into the chamber through the ejection port and requires a Modified Case (sold separately) fitted to your firearm’s chamber, which threads onto the gauge. Measurements obtained are accurate to .001″. Note that this gauge is not compatible with Adapter “D” or short-bodied cases.
