The Hornady 546443 Custom Grade Series III Two-Die Set is designed for the 8.5×55 Blaser rifle cartridge. Hornady Custom Grade dies are well-crafted with an internal finish that can last a lifetime and are guaranteed not to break or wear out from normal use.
This die set includes a Custom Grade New Dimension (CGND) Full Length Sizer Die and a CGND Seating Die. The Full Length Sizer Die features a Zip Spindle with light threads cut on the spindle and spindle collet, eliminating spindle slippage and making tightening the spindle lock simple when making adjustments. The floating bullet alignment sleeve and stem in the CGND Seating Die improve bullet seating and accuracy by pre-aligning the bullet and case before seating, and the seating die also applies a crimp to secure the bullet in the case.
