The Magpul Hunter X-22 Takedown Forend is designed for use with additional barrels on Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifles equipped with the Hunter X-22 Takedown Stock, and is made from high quality reinforced polymer featuring a reversible barrel tray that accommodates factory pencil profiles as well as heavy bull barrels up to 0.920″ outer diameter. The forend features multiple M-LOK® slots for accessory attachment and an adjustable barrel-tensioning shim that allows you to set barrel preload or free-float the barrel as desired. A dimpled drill point at the bottom of the forend enables installation of optional sling swivel studs for bipod or sling swivel use.
