The Iver Johnson Eagle XL DS is a 45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on a 1911 long slide platform. It features a 6-inch barrel, steel frame with blued finish, and wood grips. The slide is also blued and includes an extended top with G10 grips. Sights are fully adjustable white dot rear type.
This model comes with a 14-round capacity magazine and includes 2 magazines. The pistol weighs 49 ounces and measures 10.25 inches in length, 8.2 inches in width, and 3.25 inches in height. Additional features include a 3-hole trigger, skeletonized hammer, lower and flared ejection port, and front grip machined serrations. The slide is not drilled and tapped, and the safety is not ambidextrous.
