The Iver Johnson Hawk is a 45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on a steel frame with a 4.25″ barrel and matte blue finish. It features rosewood grips, a Novak style low mount rear sight, and a dovetail front sight. The slide incorporates angled serrations at front and rear, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a beveled magwell for smooth reloading. The gun is equipped with an extended slide stop and extended thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory cut, a 3-hole trigger, and a skeleton hammer.
Dimensions measure 3.25 X 8.25 X 10.45 inches (height 3.25″, width 8.25″, length 10.45″), with an overall weight of 35 ounces. The pistol has an 8-round capacity and ships with one magazine. Sights are fixed, and the frame and slide are both finished in black. This is not an ambidextrous safety model and is not drilled and tapped for optics.
