The Tavor X95 represents IWI US, Inc.’s next-generation bullpup platform, featuring substantial upgrades over the original TAVOR SAR. The fire control pack delivers a 5-6 lb. trigger pull, while the ambidextrous mag release has been repositioned to an AR-15 location for improved ergonomics. The forearm incorporates Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions with removable rail covers, and the charging handle has been relocated closer to the shooter’s center mass.
This 5.56 NATO rifle operates on a gas piston system and features a modular Tavor-style pistol grip that can be replaced with a standard pistol grip and traditional trigger guard. The bolt release button is smaller with a lower profile for streamlined handling. Adjustable BUIS consist of a folding front blade sight with Tritium insert and an aperture rear sight. The barrel measures 18.5″ with chrome lining, cold hammer-forging, and CrMoV construction, and includes a bayonet lug. This model ships with an FDE stock and accepts a 30-round capacity magazine.
