The Kimber CDS9 is a compact, double-stack 9mm semi-automatic pistol engineered with an RMSc optic-ready slide, VZ Frag G10 grips, ambidextrous controls, accessory rail, and a stacked recoil spring system. A lightweight aluminum frame finished in KimPro II pairs with a serrated, optics-ready stainless steel slide cut for RMSc footprints. The CDS9 uses a 3.18-inch stainless steel barrel and a dual recoil spring to dampen recoil.
All controls are fully ambidextrous, and the pistol includes an accessory rail for lights or lasers. A flat-faced trigger provides consistent break. The stacked dual recoil spring assembly is rated for a service life of 10,000 rounds. Magazine options span from a flush-fit 10-round capacity to extended 13 and 15-round capacity magazines. Unloaded weight is 20.8 ounces. The CDS9 ships with 10- and 13-round magazines, with extended 15-round capacity magazines available separately.
The CDS9 combines contemporary 1911-style ergonomics with modern enhancements, making it suitable for everyday carry and range use.
