The Kimber Rampart is the latest addition to the 1911 line of compensated pistols, housed around a stainless-steel slide and frame with slide lightning cuts and a ported channel on the top strap forward of the ejection port. This full-size 1911-style semi-automatic in .38 Super features a 5-inch match-grade barrel, patent-pending toolless compensator, OD Green Cerakote finish, Black Lok G10 grips and HIVIZ fiber-optic sights. The patent-pending toolless compensator aids in a substantial reduction in felt recoil.
The Rampart features custom racing-style rear serrations and weighs 40.25 ounces with an empty magazine. The magazine capacity is 9 rounds, with a recoil spring of 16.0 pounds and mil-spec guide rod. The match-grade barrel is stainless steel with a Black DLC finish and features a 16-degree twist rate. Engineered for shooters who demand precision and control, the Rampart combines classic 1911 ergonomics with modern compensator technology and match-grade components for competitive and range applications.
